No.1: A Proper Fat Loss Diet
You cannot get female abs eating burgers and fries as your main course, even if you do a lot of exercises. You'll need a proper diet not only to avoid fat accumulation, but also to provide nutrients and energy to the body.

  • Cut out junk/processed food. Americans gets fatter and fatter every year due to the food industry masterfully getting these food into their mouths. In order to make them so tasty so you would eat them without a thought, they would add tons of sugar, sodium and carcinogenic artificial sweeteners.
  • Eat unprocessed food. In another words these are food in their natural state. These food preserve their nutrients as they did not go through all the harmful food processing such as high-heat exposure.
  • Eat protein every meal. Several vital functions of protein includes building and repairing tissue, make enzymes and hormones, build muscle etc. It is well known that people in the world are under-consuming protein, resulting in a bad immune system and increased risk of sickness. Good protein sources includes poultry, beef, eggs etc.
  • Consume healthy fat. First of all fat does not make you fat! Inactivity and bad nutrition does. You need fat as they contain essential fatty acids which the body cannot manufacture on its own. If one completely eliminates fat from their diet, they will die of degenerative disease. Get your fat from olive oil, coconut oil, nuts etc.
  • Eat more fruits and vegetable. An easy way of doing this is to eat them every meal.
  • Only eat carbs on workout day. Carbohydrate is an energy source, but if it is not used it will be stored as fat, and it is a problem if you are ever going to show that female abs of yours.
  • Avoid sugar. Many people do not realize that they are actually addicted to sugar, just like being addicted to drugs. Sugar causes insulin spike which stores excess glucose in fat cells. In others words it makes you fat.
An example of daily diet:
  • Morning: Eggs with spinach, banana.
  • Brunch: Cottage cheese and lettuce.
  • Lunch: Bacon, broccoli and olive oil.
  • Snack: Mixed nuts with berries.
  • Dinner: Beef/mutton, olive oil, spinach and apple.
No. 2: An Overall Body Exercise
Exercise elevates mood, speeds fat loss, tones your body. You need an overall body exercise as you cannot reduce fat in a particular area. Just like peeling the skin of an onion, the overall body fat has to be reduced in order to reduce the belly fat, and to reveal the female abs.

  • Resistance training. Resistance training can be done with weights, body weight or resistance bands. It builds muscle, giving your body the firm, toned look. It also makes you stronger and much more capable in physical tasks. This is a great form of motivation which everybody can use.
  • Cardio. Cardio will speed up the fat loss process by putting the body into the "fat burning zone". Performing short, high-intensity cardio such as the HIIT(High Intensity Interval Training) burns more calories in a shorter amount of time. On the other hand a prolonged cardio will cause muscle loss as well, losing the muscle tone which will also cause the body to have a lower metabolism, making it harder to lose weight in the future.

You might wonder why this is the last step. Getting those female abs is actually the easier part, but removing the fat that is covering them is the harder, and more important part. Having the first two parts correct is crucial before focusing on female abs exercises.
Here are three effective female abs exercises:
Bicycle Abs

  • Lie on your back, legs straight and elevated from the ground. Hold your head with your hands, fingers laced, and elbows pointing away from the body.
  • Now bring your left knee in towards the chest, while bringing in the right elbow until it touches that knee.
  • Extend your leg and bring your elbow back to the starting position. Repeat with the opposite side.
  • Do 12 to 16 reps each side.
Hanging knee raises
You'll need a pull-up bar or you can use "captain's chair" that is commonly found in gyms.
  • From a hanging position with arms and legs straight, tighten abdominal muscles and bring knees towards the chest. Lower and repeat.
  • As you become stronger, you can try raising your legs straight towards the bar.
  • Do 8 to 12 reps.
Vertical leg crunch
  • Lie face up on the floor. Extend the legs straight up with knees crossed.
  • Lift shoulder blades off the floor by contracting your abs, keeping the legs in a fixed position.
  • Do 12 to 16 reps.
